If you’re replacing your ZF auto transmission consider replace the Flex Drive Plate at the same time. This plate is the connection with the crank to your torque converter. After many years of use, the Flex Plate can show signs of fracturing around the bolt retaining holes, once these break all the way through, you lose all drive.
